Church in the World
The goal of the Church in the World Committee is to:
(1) Provide prayerful, spiritual and financial support to our covenant missionary. Our covenant missionary at the present time is Paul Jeffrey. This is accomplished by
having fundraisers throughout the year to reach our covenant goal.
2) Assist with our gifts of service and financial aid to local, global, and conference mission projects. This includes the local food bank, various local projects such as bus tokens for the homeless, conference initiative on hunger and certain Advance Special projects.
3) Educate the congregation regarding needs of our covenant missionary, various needs of the community, needs of the conference, and global crisis situations. To promote spiritual empowerment through gifts and service to mission.
